I'm Kae Porter, founder of Amicii, life-long lover of the long lunch at a beautiful venue, and a career connector.

Amicii sprang from a personal frustration at reading about amazing new restaurants and bars, or fun-looking events and wondering who I could go with.

There's nothing better than gathering around a table to enjoy great conversation and delicious food to fulfil that need we all have of feeling connected.

But, after a major life change disrupted my social network, I found a big hole in my opportunities to enjoy these experiences and meet new people.

After several years of tinkering with the concept, our Northern Beaches pilot was launched in late 2024.

During the pilot we’re working with our venue partners and users to embed a smooth process of creating great social dining experiences that deliver from the moment of conception through to saying goodbye to your new friends at the end of a successful occasion.
